사명과 비젼/STATEMENT OF FAITH
상대의 안부를 묻는 인사, HOW ARE YOU의 약식인 HOW R U로 교회 사명과 비젼을 삼았습니다. 예배를 통해 받은 은혜와 감격을 어떠한 믿음의 그릇에 담아 어떻게 사용하는가는 그리스도인들에게 주어진 숙제입니다. 애쉬빌 한인 침례교회는 아래 소개되는 비젼들을 통해 더욱 건강한 그리스도인의 삶을 제시해 봅니다. Greeting word, ‘How are you’ is the formal version of ‘How R U’ and this is our ministry vision statement. The Christian’s assessment is how to use the grace which we have received from God to glorify Him and learning to keep our cup full with faith. We are going to introduce our ministry vision statement in order to provide a faithful life of a Christian. H: Humility(겸손) 먼저 겸손의 모범을 보이신 예수님의 걸음에 동참하는 것은 그리스도인이 걸어야 할 길입니다. 교회는 겸손해야 합니다. Participating in the steps of Jesus is the way what we need to walk together. The church needs to be humble and so do we. O: Oneness(하나됨) 그리스도인들이 하나의 마음으로 기뻐하고, 함께 우는 교회, 그런 하나의 마음을 가진 교회를 그립니다. We are dreaming the day when we can worship, cry out for others and delight all together. W: Worship(예배) 하나님을 예배하는 것은 창조주이신 하나님을 향한 피조물의 절대적 순종이 되어야 합니다. Worshiping God should be the absolute obedience to all Christians. R: Relationship(관계) 기독교는 종교가 아니라 하나님과의 사랑의 관계입니다. Christianity is not a religion, but a loving relationship with God. U: Umbrella(우산/보호) 교회는 세상의 우산의 역할을 감당하며, 아픔의 비로부터 쉴 수 있는 공간이 되어야 합니다. The church needs to be an umbrella for the world. Sometimes we can be a refuge or a place for people to seek help from their burdens. |
